Graduate Trainee Programme
HKMU is looking for enthusiastic young graduates of the University to commence their careers in a supportive environment. This opportunity is specifically tailored to nurture a maximum of 20 HKMU’s graduates annually to contribute to their alma mater. It offers a unique chance for talented individuals to embark on a journey of professional growth and development in a higher education setting.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointees will be offered training and assigned to one of the following Schools/Offices:
- School of Arts & Social Sciences
- Lee Shau Kee School of Business & Administration
- School of Education and Languages
- Li Ka Shing School of Professional & Continuing Education
- School of Nursing & Health Studies
- School of Science & Technology
- School of Open Learning
- Development and Alumni Affairs Office
- Facilities Management Office
- Human Resources Office
- Library
- Mainland and International Affairs Office
- Office of Research Affairs and Knowledge Transfer
- Public Affairs Office
- Registry
- Student Affairs Office
Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:
- HKMU undergraduates expected to be graduated in 2025 / Bachelor’s degree graduates from HKMU within two years;
- Good communication skills in both English and Chinese;
- Good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills;
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and a good team player; and
- Proficiency in computer applications.
Terms and Conditions for Appointment
An attractive remuneration package, including basic salary, an end-of-contract gratuity, and a discretionary incentive payment, where applicable, will be offered to the right candidates. Generous annual leave, staff-development sponsorships, medical and dental benefits, and life insurance coverage will also be provided.
