How you will make an impact:  

The incumbent is responsible for assisting Senior Manager in performing daily accounting operations and tax functions.

  • Team Leadership : Lead a small team to manage daily accounting and operational activities. 
  • Business Partnership : Serve as a business partner, collaborating with other business units on financial and operational matters. 
  • Tax Compliance : Oversee day-to-day tax compliance activities, including annual profit tax filing, tax provision management, income tax forecasting, and managing tax audits. 
  • Financial Reconciliation : Prepare reconciliations, breakdowns, and analyses for month-end closing and year-end audits. 
  • Financial Reporting : Deliver statutory financial statements and tax documents for subsidiaries, and assist in group consolidation for financial and management reporting. 
  • Auditor Liaison : Liaise with auditors and other professionals for external audits, tax compliance filings, and regulatory requirements. 
  • Team Development : Motivate and develop team members through technical guidance and coaching. 
  • System Implementation : Participate in the implementation and enhancement of finance-related systems to ensure alignment with accounting requirements. 
  • Ad-Hoc Projects : Assist in managing ad-hoc assignments and projects as needed.

 

What we are looking for: 

  • Qualifications : University graduate with HKICPA or equivalent professional qualifications
  • E xperience : Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in tax or financial reporting, gained from Big 4 accounting firms and sizable multinational corporations. 
  • Commercial Awareness : Basic commercial awareness with a solid understanding of procedures and principles, including knowledge of HKFRS and experience in tax compliance and consolidation matters. 
  • Analytical Skills : Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail. 
  • Organizational Skills : Excellent information management, organizational, problem analysis, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Self-Motivation : Independent and self-motivated, with the ability to manage tight deadlines effectively. 
  • Multi-Tasking : Capable of handling multiple tasks and responding effectively to ad-hoc requests. 
  • Language Proficiency : High competence in written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua is a plus. 
  • Technical Skills : Proficient in MS Office; experience with SAP is an advantage.
