The Job
Administrative Management: Oversee the administrative processes associated with new business applications, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of administrative staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and productivity.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce turnaround times for new business applications.
Compliance: Ensure all underwriting processes comply with industry regulations such as AML, FATCA and CRS, company policies, and best practices.
Collaboration: Work closely with underwriters, sales teams, and other departments to facilitate smooth communication and coordination of tasks.
Quality Control: Monitor and maintain high standards of data accuracy and quality in all administrative tasks.
Reporting: Generate and analyze reports on new business performance, identifying trends and making recommendations for improvement.
Customer Service: Address and resolve any issues or queries related to new business applications from clients, brokers, and agents.
System Development: Perform user acceptance test on system enhancement.
The Person
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. A professional qualification in insurance or underwriting is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in an administrative or managerial role within the life insurance industry, preferably in underwriting.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to analyze data and generate meaningful reports.
Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
