Executive Officer II (Ref. 250000I8) (Closing date: April 1, 2025)
The appointee will work under the Education and Academic Affairs Team of the Faculty and Planning Office, Faculty of Medicine, and will work at the CUHK Shatin campus or the Prince of Wales Hospital. Duties include (a) supporting teaching and learning and quality assurance matters; (b) supporting the Faculty’s new initiatives in teaching and learning; (c) providing administrative support to Faculty Committees, and preparing agenda papers, circulars, correspondence, minutes, etc.; (d) co-ordinating and providing administrative support to courses, education-related events and projects for the MBChB programme; (e) liaising with the University’s internal academic and administrative units, and external professional organisations; and (f) performing other duties as assigned.
Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree; (ii) fulfilled the English language requirements set out on the website: https://www.hro.cuhk.edu.hk/en-gb/languageforeo; (iii) at least 3 years’ post-qualification executive experience, preferably in the tertiary education sector; (iv) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (v) excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical and organisational skills with attentiveness to details; (vi) strong self-motivation, and the ability to work independently; and (vii) good IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
