Your new role

  • Strategy Development - Create and implement market access strategies that align with the company's overall objectives and priorities.
  • Initiatives for Government Support - Lead efforts to secure government reimbursement or subsidies for key products
  • Product Launch Support - Assists in the preparation for product launches, including developing value propositions, pricing proposals, evidence generation, and engaging stakeholders.
  • Environmental Monitoring - Evaluate the healthcare, social, and political landscapes to identify potential threats and opportunities that could affect market access strategies.
  • Partnership and Collaboration - Build relationships with external stakeholders, including patient groups, NGOs, and policymakers, to foster an environment conducive to patient access.
  • Patient Access Program Management - Plan and oversee programs designed to enhance patient access to products.
  • Contract Management - Manages government supply contracts for the Hong Kong and Macau markets.
  • Budget Oversight - Supervise budget and material approvals for programs aimed at patients and the public.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a related field; qualifications in other areas like business, economics, or public policy may also be accepted.
  • At least 2 years of market access or public affairs within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Demonstrated ability to establish connections with pharmaceutical policymakers, NGOs, and patient organisations.
  • Experience in organising and executing public affairs programs and engaging with various stakeholders.
  • Desirable to have connections with media outlets and agencies.
  • Detail-minded and highly self-motivated
  • Excellent written and spoken skills in both Chinese and English.
