Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to strategic and operational plans for the APAC region, lead the annual OP and monthly forecast processes, and develop and present financial packets to the Board
  • Ensure the APAC region stays on track to deliver financial results, including Net Sales, Profit and WC
  • Install relevant key performance indicators for the APAC region and individual countries.
  • Run financial analysis of major projects and identify major business or savings opportunities as well as cash improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance as well as appropriate internal controls in line with internal/external standards and requirements. 

Additional Responsibilities
  • Ensure all local practices are fully in line with financial, legal, and guiding principles.
  • Actively search and identify new market and acquisition opportunities.
  • Functionally lead, coach, and develop the local controllers and finance talents.
  • Drive systematic improvements in organization design, people, processes, and systems.
  • Prepare and submit all investment requests for the region.

Qualifications:
Professional Experience and Education
  • More than 10 years in business/controlling, regional exposure or multi-market experience is required
  • Experience in managing a joint venture is advantageous
  • Possesses extensive finance process knowledge, particularly within organizations that utilize shared services centers, along with strong experience in transactional finance
  • Experience to deal with people from various countries and culture.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English

  • Business and financial leadership skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of financial and controlling implications on operational and strategic business decisions.
  • Strong business acumen and holistic thinking.
  • Taking the initiative and acting independently in each framework.
  • Able to deal with ambiguity and find win-win solutions in difficult situations.
  • Business travel is expected.
