Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily activities for the retail & SME payment services (e.g., FPS, CHATS, JETCO, Loan, Credit Card, SWIFT, etc.)
  • Manage daily interbank settlement, account closure, trade booking and associated support functions
  • Lead the team to ensure all payment operations are in full compliance with both internal and external regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Ensure timeliness and accuracy of processing financial transactions, clearing & settlement reconciliation
  • Liaise with internal departments and external parties (e.g., HKICL, JETCO, card associations, etc.) to ensure effective coordination, control and governance on daily operations
  • Review, develop and streamline the daily operational procedures and workflows of payment operations to attain quality service enhancement and efficiency improvement
  • Manage various management reports, conduct evaluation and provide timely and accurate tracking on KPIs/SLAs
  • Lead ad-hoc projects/ UAT for system development and new product launch to meet business needs and ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met
  • Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs and development

Requirements

  • Degree holder in IT, Operations or Business related disciplines
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in banking/ payment operations with 3 years in managerial level
  • Good understanding of banking payment services (FPS, CHATS, JETCO, Loan, Credit CardSWIFT, etc.)
  • Keep abreast of banking/ payment technologies with strong business acumen
  • Excellent negotiation, project management, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly organized, self-motivated and capable to work under pressure
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin)
