About the Role

•Responsible for implementation of fixed income or fixed income-related strategies so as to improve investment performance.

•Responsible for performance oversight over Fixed Income, alternative credit and private credit so as to ensure a healthy portfolio holding and the meeting of LTIRA or required investment returns.

•Responsible for performance oversight over Derivatives and collateral subjects.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide quantitative assessment and technical support on investment return assumptions / ALM matters (in related asset classes) for the strategic asset allocation (SAA) and new product developments.
  • Plan and execute appropriate fixed income strategies with measurable contribution to the business (including expanding investment universe and identifying major credit/sector/asset class trend).
  • Ensure proper articulation of the intention of asset strategies in the asset and portfolio mandates and drive review on portfolio mandates to update restriction & waivers (e.g. target spread, rating & duration of portfolios).
  • Contribute positively to discussion in the regular Fixed Income, and Private Credit (and if other credit-related asset classes) portfolios review meetings, and ALM/ALCO/FRC/IC/Board meetings on the relevant investment subjects.
  • Evaluate new product development and investment initiatives from ALM.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Economics and Finance disciplines with 8+ years of relevant experiences in fixed income spectrum (from Govies, IG-Corp, securitized to private credit universe). Preferred with experience in derivative and collateral management area.
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or FRM or CAIA is an advantage.
  • Strong quantitative/analytic skills and results oriented.
  • Good command of both written and spoken English.
