We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated personnel to join our Compliance team, focusing on HK Retirement Compliance. This role involves overseeing Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA), Common Reporting Standard (CRS), and general compliance matters related to pension schemes. The ideal candidate will have strong background in regulatory compliance within the financial services industry, particularly in retirement products.

On the job you will: 

  • Provide advice on all MPF and ORSO related regulatory and compliance matters, in particular AML, FATCA and CRS.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures to ensure alignment with regulatory standards.
  • Identify and assess compliance risk associated with pension products and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Oversee compliance monitoring activities and prepare regular reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
  • Maintain an effective compliance management program to monitor and mitigate compliance risk and exposure.
  • Develop and develop training programs to enhance awareness and understanding of compliance requirements within the organization. 
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices to ensure the compliance’s compliance framework remains robust and effective. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned from time to time to support the overall compliance objectives of the organization. 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related MPF and ORSO compliance experience in compliance, preferably within the financial services industry, with a focus on AML, FATCA, CRS, and pension-related compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of Hong Kong regulatory requirements and international compliance standards.
  • Familiarity with Macau pension regulations is a plus.
  • Ability to read Chinese is required. 
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Fluency in English, with proficiency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin preferred.
