As the Accounting Manager, you will lead the Accounting Team in daily accounting operations. You will manage and oversee the whole accounting process, give professional advise to the business and management to ensure the accounting procedures and practices can support business needs.
Responsibilities
Presents recommendations to management on short- and long-term financial objectives and policies which are adhered to business growth.
Reviews and controls journal entries, cost allocation, inter-company transactions., trade and marketing expense booking.
Prepares activity reports and departmental expense analysis. Ensures periodic financial reports comply with financial reporting standards and group policies.
Manages working capital by controlling cash inflow, outflow, receivables and payables.
Works closely with shared service center on maintenance of master data, pricing chart of accounts, cost centre, profit centre and WBS.
Manages business improvement processes in SAP to have proper SOPs, procedures and approval matrix.
Reviews monthly balance sheet reconciliation, follows up on open items and rectify any anomalies encountered.
Reviews manual billings of Accounts Receivable, ensure all sales related activities are reported timely and accurately. Manages receivable overdue and implements effective credit controls.
Manages inventory, costing and provision related activities.
Manages annual audit process and ensure timely signing of audited financial statements.
Handles all tax matters; e.g. corporate income tax computation & filing, deferred tax calculation, transfer price documentation, royalties, and tax payment.
Requirements
Bachelor degree in Finance and/or Accountancy from a recognised university.
Accredited member of an internationally recognised CPA organisation.
Minimum 10 years of experience in financial accounting in multinational company.
Proficiency in SAP is a must; strong Excel and other Microsoft Office skills (e.g., Word, PowerPoint) are a plus.
Fluent in spoken written and spoken English and Chinese.
Able to work with cross-functional teams.
