Senior IT Assistant in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 531195) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Higher Diploma or above in Computer or IT related disciplines, with good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, as well as at least 1 year of work experience in IT.

The appointee will be responsible for:

1. Performing daily system monitoring for infrastructure.
2. Preparing documents for infrastructure procurement, technical guidelines and procedures.
3. Assisting in maintaining and enhancing all IT operations in data centres with the IT Officers.
4. Assisting in infrastructure and system troubleshooting on incident.

Additionally, they will participate in network or infrastructure project implementation. Working independently and outside office hours are required. Pro-active and strong motivation for picking up the latest technological trends on network, infrastructure or cyber security is an advantage.
