Leader for the Oracle application support and development function and a key representative of the Global IT team
Assist head of IT in planning, and coordinating internal and external resources for the implementation of IT projects which facilitate the achievement of company’s business goals and strategic initiatives
Actively participate in the design of the Global IT system architecture, systems and processes integrations, and capability roadmap development
Identify process improvement opportunities and assist in preparing proposals for new developments and operation streamlining
Oracle application system
Ensure the Oracle application system is operated effectively and without causing interruptions to the business
Research, recommend and deploy relevant and suitable system maintenance and upgrades to ensure the system integrity is maintained
Perform feasibility studies and develop functional requirements for new systems and enhancements to existing systems
Lead the team and perform day-to-day system supports to users in Asia, US, EMEA regions.
Define standard operation procedure (SOP) for the Oracle system support.
Participate in projects for integrating Oracle application system with other IT applications. Instruct and oversee 3rd party resources employed for system developments.
Points related to system developments and enhancements
Document the business functions and processes by using the appropriate presentation tools including flow charts, workflow tables, mapping documents
Maintain proper documentations for IT system developments and specifications (for system integrations)
Document trainings provided to IT team and key users, whichever appropriate
Requirements:
Degree holder or above in Information Technology, Computer Science or other related disciplines
Minimum 8 years’ experience in managing EBS application system and IT project management
Solid implementation and maintenance experience in Oracle EBS R12
Experience in managing and executing integration of Oracle EBS with 3rd party application systems
Strong technical skill on Oracle Forms & Reports, Database Package, Linux scripting and JAVA programming
Candidates are required to have solid experience in system user support and help desk support, able to understand user requirements and apply good system analysis to apply corresponding follow up actions to users and system.
Experience in effectively manages stakeholders at multiple levels and across functions - in line with project requirements and timelines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
