Job Title: IT Support Engineer (Desktop Support)

Location: Hong Kong SAR (Onsite)

Job Summary:


We are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer (Desktop Support) to provide onsite technical assistance to end-users. The role involves troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring optimal service delivery, and maintaining IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills, excellent customer service abilities, and hands-on experience with various IT support technologies.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide onsite technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot Windows OS (7/8/10/11) , Microsoft Office applications, and other enterprise software.
  • Perform hardware/software installations, upgrades, and maintenance .
  • Manage user accounts, access controls, and Active Directory administration.
  • Support mobile devices and enterprise applications.
  • Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN).
  • Utilize SCCM and other deployment tools for software distribution.
  • Provide end-user training and documentation for common IT issues.
  • Collaborate with remote teams and escalate issues as required.
  • Maintain compliance with IT security policies and best practices.


Required Skills & Experience:


  • 2+ years of experience in IT Support/Desktop Support.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows OS (XP, 7, 10, 11) and Microsoft Office Suite .
  • Strong understanding of hardware troubleshooting (PCs, laptops, printers, and peripherals).
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Exchange, and Group Policies .
  • Experience with SCCM or other software deployment tools.
  • Basic knowledge of Apple macOS, iOS, and Android device support .
  • Excellent customer service skills with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Relevant IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft 365 Certified, ITIL Foundation).
  • Experience in enterprise IT support environments.
