We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated team player to join our Finance Team. Working closely with the Group Finance Manager, this role will be based in our Hong Kong headquarters.
Responsibilities Include:
Manage and oversee the preparation of group-wide financial statements and reporting packages, ensuring timely and accurate financial information is delivered to key stakeholders.
Consolidate financial information across multiple companies and identify areas for improvement in the group's financial reporting process to deliver efficiencies and best practice.
Ensure that the company's financial statements comply with relevant accounting standards and regulations, including IFRS and local GAAP.
Work closely with internal stakeholders including senior management, finance and operations teams, providing financial advice and support as needed.
Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors, tax advisors and other third-party service providers as needed, overseeing and providing support during the audit process.
Continuously review and improve the company's financial controls and policies, ensuring compliance and mitigating financial risks as appropriate.
Drive improvements to the group's financial systems and processes, including the implementation of new systems and software as needed.
Manage and develop a team of finance professionals, providing coaching, mentoring and guidance to enable them to deliver high-quality financial reporting and analysis
Ideal candidates:
A recognized accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience.
Experience of working in a group finance role, with a strong understanding of group accounting and consolidation principles.
Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of current accounting standards (IFRS and local GAAP).
Ability to analyse complex financial information and explain results to non-financial stakeholders.
Good people management skills, with the ability to lead and develop a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
