About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated team player to join our Finance Team. Working closely with the Group Finance Manager, this role will be based in our Hong Kong headquarters.

Responsibilities Include:

• Manage and oversee the preparation of group-wide financial statements and reporting packages, ensuring timely and accurate financial information is delivered to key stakeholders.
• Consolidate financial information across multiple companies and identify areas for improvement in the group's financial reporting process to deliver efficiencies and best practice.
• Ensure that the company's financial statements comply with relevant accounting standards and regulations, including IFRS and local GAAP.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders including senior management, finance and operations teams, providing financial advice and support as needed.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors, tax advisors and other third-party service providers as needed, overseeing and providing support during the audit process.
• Continuously review and improve the company's financial controls and policies, ensuring compliance and mitigating financial risks as appropriate.
• Drive improvements to the group's financial systems and processes, including the implementation of new systems and software as needed.
• Manage and develop a team of finance professionals, providing coaching, mentoring and guidance to enable them to deliver high-quality financial reporting and analysis

Ideal candidates:

• A recognized accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience.
• Experience of working in a group finance role, with a strong understanding of group accounting and consolidation principles.
• Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of current accounting standards (IFRS and local GAAP).
• Ability to analyse complex financial information and explain results to non-financial stakeholders.
• Good people management skills, with the ability to lead and develop a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
