Gaw Capital is seeking an Analyst to join its Capital Markets Department, based in Hong Kong. Gaw Capital is consistently ranked top 5 in the APAC Fund Manager ranking by PERE, based on the amount of third-party capital raised. The Analyst will support the department members in global fundraising and managing investor relationships across Real Assets. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to learn about the fund management and the Real Assets business.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Capital Markets team in global fundraising for our blind pool funds, co-investment platforms and separate managed account vehicles across several asset classes, including real assets and private credit.
• Support ongoing client relationship management by conducting market research, preparing portfolio analysis materials for investor meetings and assisting investors on their regular reporting.
• Research current trends in the industry and market dynamics impacting performance of the funds.
• Conduct financial analysis and fund level modelling.
• Work with internal and external parties to assist in due diligence processes for our global clients.
• Coordinate in organizing investor meetings and roadshows.
• Facilitate the onboarding and ongoing review of investors and any related KYC requests.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Economics, Finance, Accounting or related disciplines with 1-2 years’ relevant experience at placement agents, investment banking, private equity fund or investor relations preferred.
• Possess strong research, analytical, numerical, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Mandarin. Responsible, self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Good team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who thrives on challenge in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Candidates with deep understanding of Real Assets markets and investment instruments preferred.
