Oversee and manage financial reporting process including preparation of month end closing journal, Group report and RBC returns for submission to HKIA in according with HKFRS standard and RBC basis requirement
Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory and IFRS requirements
Support for enhancement and operation on Risk Based Capital Reporting Regime
Support USGAAP regime
Conduct various financial analysis and reconciliation, address issues/queries raised by management regulators, internal stakeholder, internal/external auditors.
Liaise with cross-function stakeholder throughout financial reporting process
Liaise with external auditor for queries and requests related to HKRBC audit
Assist in adopting new or changes in regulatory reporting requirement form regulators, including leading the gap analysis , reviewing & providing feedback in consultation papers, coordinating the execution steps in implementing the changes
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related filed. CPA qualification is a MUST
Minimum 5 years of progress experience in finance with at least 3 year in a managerial/supervision role and sizable insurance company.
Strong knowledge of financial regulations, reporting standards and taxation in HK insurance company
Attention to detail able to work under pressure think and work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
Solid experience on people management is highly preferred.
