We are seeking an experienced Business Development & Sales Manager in Hong Kong to drive sales growth and manage key client relationships within the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector . The ideal candidate will have a background in staffing / professional services and IT consulting.
Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the BFSI sector through market research, networking, and lead generation activities.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
- Conduct meetings, presentations, and demonstrations to showcase our services and solutions to potential clients.
Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with existing clients in the BFSI domain to understand their needs and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with the delivery team to ensure client satisfaction and successful project delivery.
Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to identify areas for growth and improvement.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and proposals to senior management.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and delivery, to ensure alignment and support in achieving business goals.
- Provide input and feedback on product development, marketing strategies, and customer experience initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- At least 4-5+ years of experience in business development within the BFSI domain
- Hunter role with a proven track record of success in business development or sales roles within the IT consultancy or Technology industry.
- Strong network of clientele and contacts within the industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and sales tracking systems.
