Position Overview

The HERMÈS WORK IMMERSION PROGRAM offers students and recent graduates a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Accounting and Financial Planning & Analysis functions within the luxury retail industry. By participating in this program, intern will acquire valuable practical experience and learn about the various strategies used to in the retail sector. The intern will also work with external parties and various teams across different regions within the organization, allowing he/she to learn from diverse perspectives and develop new skills.

 

This 9-month program is designed to cultivate future leaders by integrating practical learning with meaningful responsibilities, while providing a deep understanding of Hermès’ accounting and finance standards.

 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with finance team in handling day-to-day financial operations
  • Support in month end closing and financial reporting preparation
  • Conduct financial analysis to support business development initiatives and management decision-making
  • Prepare presentation materials on business performance and insights
  • Develop, maintain, and improve financial templates to enhance reporting efficiency
  • Assist in ad hoc financial projects and assignments as required

 

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance, or a related discipline
  • Knowledge of finance and accounting concepts is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint), knowledge of Power BI and other automation scripting is a plus
  • Good team player, high level of accuracy and detailed oriented
  • Good command of both written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
  • Available to work as an intern for 2-3 full days per week (falls into Mon - Fri)
