About HKTDC 

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is a statutory body established in 1966 to promote, assist and develop Hong Kong's trade. With 50 offices globally, including 13 in Mainland China, the HKTDC promotes Hong Kong as a two-way global investment and business hub.

The HKTDC organises international exhibitions, conferences and business missions to create business opportunities for companies, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), in the mainland and international markets. The HKTDC also provides up-to-date market insights and product information via research reports and digital news channels.

About Summer Internship Programme

HKTDC’s summer internship programme 2025 is now open for application.  During the internship, you will have the opportunities to gain hands-on work experience by assisting in the planning and execution of events and exhibitions (such as Hong Kong Book Fair, Food Expo and International Tea Fair, etc.) or by supporting corporate services within the Council.

Programme Duration:

Around 8 weeks between June and September 2025

Learning/ Gain from the Programme:

• Work exposure in Marketing, Exhibition & Event Management industry
• Participation in sizable events, projects and business meetings
• Develop professional know-how, business communications and collaboration skills
• Understanding of overall businesses & operations of HKTDC
