About you

We are looking for a Senior Accountant who considers themselves to be well rounded, dynamic, and can multi-task seamlessly. We are not looking for years of experience but rather someone who has bundles of energy, is detailed in approach, positive attitude and is willing to be shown to learn and grow within the company.

A Glimpse of what you'll do:

• Responsible for closing of books at financial month end, preparing all the financial data required by the management for reviewing purpose and controlling the capital expenditure budget commitment.
• Responsible for daily audit of all revenue received by the Hotel. Investigate any discrepancy and rectify with concerned departments.
• Ensure balancing of guest and house accounts, including all transactions therein.
• Responsible for daily cash count on the drop safe records.
• Responsible for credit investigation, provide up-date information on respective debtors to the management in order to minimize risk of granting credit facilities.
• Ensure all payment collection do not exceed 30 days of credit sales.
• Ensure all account payables being settled on timely basis.
• Responsible for daily job duties in accounts receivable, accounts payable, revenue audit, cost control sections

Who are we looking for:

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in hotel accounting, experience with hands on to close book independently is a MUST
• Degree holder in accounting preferred
• An efficient, self-motivated & good team player who is reliable & dependable
• Experience using SUN Accounting v6 and Hotel PMS (Opera Cloud) will be big plus
• Good command of English in both written & spoken
• Hands on approach with willingness to roll up the sleeves and get the hands dirty
