Join Cathay as Enterprise Test Analyst, you will be responsible for implementing and executing the Non-Functional Testing discipline which includes Infrastructure Testing, Disaster Recovery and Quality Assurance, in line with Cathay Pacific (CX) standards. 

You will be working with IT Solution Centre and Infrastructure teams to develop and execute test plans for Operational Acceptance test, Resilience tests with the aim to implement and achieve the agreed application service requirements maintaining standards. You will be required to communicate with support teams at different levels and call upon your breadth of IT knowledge and expertise as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate and coordinate the test execution including Resilience Testing, Recoverability Testing, DR test. 
• Develop and execute the Operational Acceptance & Infrastructure Test Plan defined with the application and infrastructure teams. 
• Provide weekly summary reporting of progress metrics to the Test Team Leader/Manager, highlighting achievements, issues and targets 
• Manage support vendors and service providers to deliver timely testing services and executions. 
• Identify and manage project-level risks associated with/during testing and escalate as required. 
• Collaborate with Application, Infrastructure and Operation Teams to consolidate, build and formalise executable test procedures and documentation of the results. 
• Manage the end-to-end OAT lifecycle and deliverables for each project engagement 

Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications are essential with minimum of 3 years of IT experience, including at least 2 years’ experience in resiliency testing, infrastructure support, IT operations, technical project management or vendor management roles desirable, with equivalent in another technical discipline to be considered. 
• Excellent in written and spoken English is essential with good experience in Mandarin and Cantonese, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to a range of audiences. 
• Experience in Infrastructure, Middleware or cloud computing in one or more of the following disciplines desirable: AWS/Azure Cloud, AliCloud, Server (Container/VM/physical), CI/CD, Storage, Networks, Database, Middleware, DR, BCP, Testing and Chaos Testing. 
• Experience in technical discipline and one or more Programming/scripting languages/testing tools (C, Java, Groovy, Ansible, Power shell, shell scripting, SQL, JIRA, ALM, Jenkins, etc) is an advantage. 
• Analysis of systems to identify defects or potential risks that may cause systems to cause resilience and operational issues ant not meet non-functional requirements for compliance.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to promote healthy relationships and influence others. 
• Proactive and willing to drive changes to achieve positive outcomes. 
• Well-developed analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, leveraging both logic and creativity; strong troubleshooting skills; ability to identify patterns and generate ideas. 
• Validating test results through diagnosis and analysis of various system/application error logs, transaction metrics, as well as database performance logs. 
• Certification of in one of the following is an optional advantage: ISTQB/PMP/CISA/ITIL/AWS Cloud Practitioner/Azure Fundamentals.
