Job duties of this Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Engineering and Architecture Lead to join our Data & AI practice. We deliver scalable, business-critical and end-to-end solutions for our clients - from data strategy/governance to Core Engineering, enabling them to transform and work in Cloud Technologies.

• Define data strategy, data migration approach, data integration approach, data models and data design

• Participate in or drive deep architectural discussions to build confidence and ensure customer success when implementing data related solutions

• Investigate and thoroughly understand the current live applications and systems at any given client site

• Be a trusted technical advisor to customers and solve complex technical challenges, and establish credibility & build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers’ organization

• Lead the implementation of a large-scale data platform or AI transformation

• Develop and maintain data engineering best practices in Hong Kong Technology Team and contribute to data analytics insights and visualization concepts, methods and techniques

• Work closely with Sales and Account Managers on business development

Qualifications

Come JOIN US if you have:

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree required in a related field; strong preference for fields of study in data science, AI, computer science
• 10+ years of experience in managing and delivering complex, large scale distributed data platform or solutions
• Deep skills in design and development of E2E data management and analytics architecture (i.e. ingestion, loading, transformation, data model design)
• Strong expertise in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, coupled with a solid understanding of data management, governance, security principles
• Prior experience in leading system integration or implementation projects
• Familiar with different cloud and data platforms, such as Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, Redshift, or Informatica.
• Broad architecture skills, covering application, infrastructure, data and integration
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, partners, and team members
