MISSION


The SEAP Sales Area Manager will take full ownership of wholesale , retail , and stock performance across the assigned markets, driving the achievement of Maserati's business objectives. By providing strategic guidance and operational support to importers, the role ensures alignment with company targets and implements corrective actions when needed. Leveraging data analysis and market insights , the Sales Area Manager will optimize sales performance while efficiently managing the Sales Support budget . A key player in delivering growth and maintaining a competitive edge in the SEAP region.



RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES


Planning & Forecasting

  • Develop long-term sales plans to support network development and investment strategies in the region.
  • Manage monthly production order planning (PO), including wholesale, factory and dealer stock, and retail targets by model and market.
  • Provide accurate sales projections and inputs to support the company’s annual strategic planning process.


Field Support & Dealer Network Management

  • Maintain close monitoring of dealer operations, with a deep understanding of pipeline deals and business dynamics.
  • Conduct regular dealer visits based on business potential and performance, ensuring compliance with corporate standards and KPIs.
  • Identify operational gaps, recommend corrective actions, and ensure implementation through consistent follow-up.
  • Support market-level initiatives, customer case resolutions, and the relationship between importer and manufacturer.
  • Lead the rollout and follow-up of corporate sales programs (e.g., BIC program) to strengthen dealer processes.
  • Oversee payment and invoicing status, proactively addressing any critical delays.


Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Continuously analyze dealer sales performance against budget, market targets, competitive benchmarks, and stock/production situations.
  • Compare monthly sales results to set objectives and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports on market share, sales target achievement, and the effectiveness of sales and marketing actions.


Product & Market Intelligence

  • Collaborate with Product Management by gathering customer feedback on product performance and competitive landscape.
  • Monitor competitor pricing, sales conditions, and propose adjustments to enhance market positioning.


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Importers and key customers to strengthen market presence, drive sales initiatives, and enhance customer experience.
  • Support marketing and advertising strategies by providing field insights and market feedback.
  • Represent Maserati at tradeshows and industry events to drive lead generation, assess market trends, and evaluate the effectiveness of sales activities.



REQUIREMENTS


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a similar role, preferably in sales planning or business analysis .
  • Experience within the automotive sector is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities and working autonomously while maintaining a collaborative approach.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Fluent in English , both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced knowledge of Excel and Google G-Suite tools.
  • Familiarity with database management (MS Access or similar) is a plus.
  • Strong presentation skills with solid command of PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% or more of working time across the assigned region.
