We are looking for a candidate with a degree in logistics engineering or food science. We aim to receive RTH funding for this placement.
You will work on building datasets that will be used for creating a knowledge-based AI agent. You will be responsible for analyzing the logic and the structure of China’s food standards, comparing it to foreign product specifications and automating the assessment of regulatory compliance.
Together with the AI engineers, you will have to structure the robotic process automation (RPA) based on the workflows used by experienced regulatory compliance consultants.
This position involves training in Hangzhou by our partners – a firm specializing in food regulatory advisory.
The job contract is 3 years upon RTH confirmation letter. The job location is Cyberport.

Export Smart is funded by Cyberport to build the world’s first AI-powered export workflow management system for global F&B brands to access China market. We have a remote global team of over 40 experts, with Hong Kong as our research and development hub.
Currently we are developing a proprietary GB (国标) regulatory standards engine, where users will be able to receive an assessment on product compliance for China mainland food importation by talking to a virtual AI-powered assistant.
Our MVP is already fully functional – the virtual assistant can currently guide the brands through importation documents, securely upload files, and organize them for both importers and brands.
