Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team as an Execution Trader professional for a Quant Equities Strategy team. In this role, you will support the portfolio management team and be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our systematic quantitative equities trading desk.

Principal Responsibilities
Collaborate with portfolio managers, technologists, and data vendors to ensure accurate and timely data inputs into our proprietary research and trading systems.
Monitor pre- and post-trade compliance checks for our systematic trading strategies.
Monitor our proprietary low-latency DMA trading systems to make sure they are well functioning, behaving in accordance with our trading and risk guidelines, and identify, diagnose, and escalate issues accordingly.
Work with external brokers to execute certain trades in accordance with our trading guidelines.
Research and recommend new analytical tools, data vendors, and trading tools, to help drive efficiency and profitability of our trading operations.
Identify and escalate any trading and operational risks and issues to portfolio managers and senior leaders.
Set up the framework and guidelines of our execution trader team as its first member.
Preferred Technical Skills
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, or Economics related field
Experience with at least one programming language, preferably Python.
Experience with basic usage of Linux command line tools and bash scripts.
Experience with trading systems, algorithms, and investment analytics tools.
Preferred Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience related to quantitative trading, equities trading, or equity derivatives trading.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues quickly.
Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin.
Ability to synthesize data and provide meaningful data-driven insights to portfolio managers and senior executives.
