Company Overview:
Our company, a French leader in the tranding of Gift with Purchase (GWP) items and packaging for luxury and cosmetic brands, is looking for a skilled and proactive Development Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This key role involves close coordination with sales teams, clients, and production offices in Europe, the Middle East, and Dongguan, China.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage purchasing projects for luxury and cosmetics brands in collaboration with sales teams in Europe and the Middle East, and our purchasing office in Dongguan.
- Oversee the entire product development process: from receiving briefs, product development, and sampling to production, quotations, quality checks, audits, and final delivery to client warehouses.
- Negotiate with clients to provide accurate quotations that meet targeted margins and benefits.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams: design, sales, sourcing, logistics, quality control, and labs to ensure smooth project execution.
- Address and resolve delivery and quality issues by finding appropriate solutions in collaboration with customers and suppliers.
- Be a key member of the procurement team, driving performance improvements and enhancing procurement effectiveness.
- Additional duties may include factory visits, logistics coordination with forwarders, accompanying customers during visits to China, and implementing internal RSE policies.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in International Trade, Purchasing, or related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, product development, or international trade.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- ractical, innovative, and agile mindset with proactive problem-solving skills.
- Ability to simplify and communicate complex topics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Languages:
- Fluent in English and French (mandatory). Mandarin is a plus.
Location:
- Ability to live and work in Hong Kong and Dongguan, South China.
Salary:
- Based on experience and profile.
