Responsibilities

  • Help develop the Equity Derivatives trading business.
  • Work with FM Sales and RMs in the various regions to promote products
  • Maximise total product income by ensuring effective end to end client identification, risk management, service and infrastructure
  • Work in conjunction with other partners to ensure SCB has a best-in-class equity offering
  • Drive the PnL around Equity Derivatives and help drive new initiatives for BCS overall
  • Help manage the implementation of Funds and Structured Products strategies and ensure that performance objectives and revenue goals are met and RWA targets managed
  • Ensure that the business meets its obligations the prevention of money laundering under the Group Policy and Standards and under local laws and regulations.
  • Accountable for helping establish and maintain frameworks to ensure flow trading, especially Asian IG, processes are efficient, appropriate and compliant with all internal and external regulations.
  • To work in partnership with Credit Trading teams globally to ensure that the Equity product is value additive for clients and the bank
  • Manage the implementation of Financing and Investment Solutions specific strategies and ensure that performance objectives and long term economic profit (EP) goals are met

Qualifications

  • Substantial experience of and demonstrated success in structured or flow Credit Trading
  • Good engineering degree and proven ability to handle quantitative models
  • Must possess sharp business acumen (including ability to assess risk and appropriate levels of return), excellent interpersonal skills and multi-cultural awareness and sensitivity
  • Ability to work with geographically dispersed and highly varied stakeholders
