Our client is a leading corporate organisation in Hong Kong, seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Procurement Manager with a focus on corporate service and marketing categories, procurement and Chinese vendor relationships. This role is crucial in managing the procurement team, assisting with the launch of several new marketing projects, and ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency in procurement operations.

Your new role

• Develop and implement procurement strategies specifically for marketing categories, including advertising, digital marketing, public relations, and promotional services, while supporting the launch of new projects.
• Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in marketing procurement strategies.
• Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to ensure optimal value and service for ongoing and upcoming marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their marketing needs and provide tailored procurement support for new projects.
• Monitor market trends within the marketing sector and identify opportunities for cost savings and process enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices in procurement.
• Manage relationships with vendors in the PRC (People's Republic of China), ensuring compliance with local regulations and optimising procurement processes for marketing categories.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience in procurement within marketing categories, including consulting, legal, and HR services.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring procurement teams.
• Expertise in contract negotiation and supplier relationship management focused on marketing initiatives.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to meet procurement needs.
• In-depth understanding of market trends in marketing procurement and capability to drive cost-effective solutions.
• Experience managing vendor relationships in the PRC, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
