Responsibilities

• Assist in policy research projects to promote the quality of financial reporting and auditing, as well as the healthy development of the accounting profession.
• Review and process new and renewal applications for the issuance of practising certificates to certified public accountants and registration of audit practice units, and respond to related enquiries.
• Assist in performing the annual review of HKICPA’s performance of the specified functions.
• Manage and review the work performed by officers.
• Fulfil other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements​

• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• At least 5 years of working experience in professional firms, commercial organisations or public bodies.
• Possession of accounting and auditing knowledge or CPA qualification will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and project management skills.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Proactive, agile, with a strong sense of responsibility, detail-oriented, able to work independently in a team and multi-task, deadline-driven.

This is a renewable contract role. A competitive package will be offered to the successful candidate.
