Manager - Policy, Registration and Oversight (contract)
Assist in policy research projects to promote the quality of financial reporting and auditing, as well as the healthy development of the accounting profession.
Review and process new and renewal applications for the issuance of practising certificates to certified public accountants and registration of audit practice units, and respond to related enquiries.
Assist in performing the annual review of HKICPA’s performance of the specified functions.
Manage and review the work performed by officers.
Fulfil other responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above.
At least 5 years of working experience in professional firms, commercial organisations or public bodies.
Possession of accounting and auditing knowledge or CPA qualification will be an advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and project management skills.
Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
Proactive, agile, with a strong sense of responsibility, detail-oriented, able to work independently in a team and multi-task, deadline-driven.
This is a renewable contract role. A competitive package will be offered to the successful candidate.
