A Well-Established Foreign Corporate Bank is looking for a First Vice President (Deputy Head of Operations) to join their Operations Department.

Your new role

• Supervise the 4 operations teams: payment operations teams, treasury settlement team, trade finaace operations and account services team, of 15 headcounts.
  
• Manage and investigate daily banking operation activities such as incoming and outgoing local and global payments, remittance, clearing, FX/MM settlement, trade finance and bills operations.
  
• Report to and assist the Head of Operations Department in overseeing the daily operation of the department.
  
• Support and coordinate different types of projects for Business Continuity Plan (BCP), system maintenance, streamline processing, system enhancement, such as ISO 20022, HKICL project and reporting, reporting to HKMA/ HKEX etc..
  
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including business, operations risk and compliance departments to ensure seamless execution of trade operations in adherence to the Bank's policies and procedures.
  
• Build strong risk and controls focused operations and work closely with business partners to ensure high-quality services are delivered and enhance trade customer experiences.
  
• Support department management in developing and implementing the Department's strategic plan as well as managing different sections to achieve the Bank's goal.
  
• Perform any ad hoc projects as assigned.
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor Degree holder (MUST)
• 10+ years of working experience in Corporate Banking Operations within payment operations, treasury settlement and trade finance services/ bills operations
• 5+years experience in people and team management
• Good knowledge of payment operations, remittance, import & export trade finance L/C products
• Knowledge of system enhancement, upgrade, core banking system implementation, UAT for operations processing.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese, Cantonese and Mandarin
