Reports To: Marketing Manager
This role will assist our China Marketing Manager with designing and implementing marketing initiatives to further increase Cathay brand awareness and drive mileage sales & product sales business in China, especially GBA market.
Key Responsibilities
Partner communication and campaign operation
- Work closely with local team and local partners to plan and execute partner’s promotion campaign
- Strategically plan the budget and marketing initiatives with local team, partners and head office for promotion events
- Coordinate with head office to ensure relevant Cathay branded content and campaigns are aligned with the overall brand image
- Day-to-day tasks include managing and coordinating marketing and creative staff from partner side as well as Asia Miles by Cathay own channels. Ensure partner’s message are well deliver and correctly
- Proactively conduct post-event evaluation from partners and Asia Miles by Cathay own channel (including data and analysis
Marketing Communication & Public Relations
- Strategically plan, operate, and quality control for social media, e.g.WeChat/ Weibo/Rednote/Douyin, including but not limited to channel slot booking, content oversee, campaign planning and execution. Coordinate with internal and external parties, manage and supervise local digital agency
- Coordinate and execute digital brand and marketing campaigns
- Coordinate with head office to ensure relevant Cathay branded content and campaigns are aligned with the overall brand image
- Support, copywrite and localize communications material development on digital and mobile channels including Cathay website and other interactive communications
- Actively engage customers and influencers within the social media channels, as well as interacting with internal and external online communities
- Organize events including press conference, exhibitions, social community/media gatherings, and other activities supports in order to gain public attention through the media without advertising directly.
- Plan and budget on channel activities and merchandize order
Requirements
- University degree preferably in Marketing, Social Media, Public Relations, Communications or related discipline.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in social media, marketing & communication.
- Proven member recruitment experience is a definite advantage. Experience in loyalty management will be an advantage, but not compulsory.
- Good marketing sense, good grasp and understanding of consumer insights
- Strong communication, interpersonal and project management skills
- Ability to establish and maintain good work relationship with both internal and external customers
- Willingness to travel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin. Cantonese will be an advantage, but not a must.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
