Job description

1. Lead a team of data scientist under Data Analytics Centre of Excellence to deliver AIML (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) solution to support the bank strategic priorities across consumer banking, private banking and institutional banking.
2. Work with different data chapters and business stakeholders to drive revenue impact to business by implementation of AIML to different units under the horizontal organization structure.
3. Develop and implement a comprehensive AIML roadmap for the bank and come up synergy between different business products and units from a holistic perspective.
4. Identify business opportunities where AIML could play the key role and prioritize for the team accordingly.
5. Increase the transparency of the AIML capabilities and promote AIML culture across different business units.
6. Provide advisory of AIML application to data users and business owners.

Requirement

1. Degree or above in mathematics, statistics, information science, physics or related disciplines with a minimum of 8 years of work experience in machine learning, modeling, which ideally at least 3 years at the managerial level
2. Strong business sense. Ability to address business needs and identify business opportunities
3. Hands-on experience in AI, machine learning and modeling and solid experience to implement AIML to drive business impact
4. Excellent understanding of the data science production life cycle with demonstrable experience working with structured, semi-structured and unstructured data
5. Excellent software skills (Python, SQL) and knowledge in design patterns and code optimization.
6. Familiar with software development best practices and tools (Agile, TDD, Jira, Jenkins, Git)
7. Good to have - banking business domain knowledge
