Assistant Manager, Professional Assessment Development
Execution of operations of relevant scholarship scheme
Reporting to the Manager, Professional Assessment Development, the colleague will assist to manage the department to develop and drive assessments of the Professional Qualifications Programmes, including examination, exemption, grandfathering, certification, and conversion. He/she will work closely with the relevant departments and teams in terms of operational execution.
Job Responsibilities
To develop high quality professional examinations and related services for Hong Kong and other operational areas, with both English and Chinese Languages
To provide support in the operations of examinations and professional certification of recognised banking qualifications, including invigilation and vetting of documents
To design and execute measures to manage and enhance the quality of professional examinations and events
To assist the continuous enhancement in relevant policy, procedure and guideline under the scope of professional competence and development
To participate in the projects on assessment agency, qualification framework and competence development
To liaise with in-house clients about the assessment, grandfathering and certification arrangement
To assist the execution of operations of relevant scholarship scheme
To assist the execution and operations of relevant government subsidy scheme
To communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners, including academics, bank practitioners and regulatory representatives
To provide secretariat support to institutional meeting including but not limited to AGM, HKIB Committee and Sub-committee meetings
To manage and execute projects as well as ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisors
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree holder or above
Minimum 5 years of work experience, preferably with proven experience in education, administration, training or banking industry
Attentive to details, having the ability to multitask and work independently, self-motivated and eager to learn, must be a team player with strong leadership and coordination
Proven proficiency in both English and Chinese, both written and spoken
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good project management, quality management and strong analytical skills
Proficient in computer software application including Word, Excel, Power-point
Willing to work at irregular working hours occasionally with operational needs of examinations and corporate events
Candidate with less experience will be considered as Senior Officer
