A reputable Fortune 500 firm is seeking an experienced Digital Engineer to join their growing team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience working in software development, and performance testing. 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the quality of the developments through norms, standards, technical reviews and source control
  • Assist in various project implementation phases, such as project design, estimation, planning, development and implementation 
  • Provide support in technical aspects tasks to drive tractability and efficient collaboration within stakeholders through specifications and code 
  • Create and maintain APIs that support the platform’s functionality to ensure smooth running
  • Produce well-documented and well-tested, modular code focused on scalability and security
  • Collaborate and problem-solve with internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to application architecture with a focus on scalability, performance, availability, and security
  • Conduct test with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practice
  • Assist in publishing, deploying, and troubleshooting code

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or higher qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
  • Minimum 2-4 years of working experience in software development and test automation
  • Industry experience in mobile, web, digital platform in Insurance or Financial services
  • Strong experience in React Native, iOS, and Java development would be a plus 
  • Prior experience in using JMeter, Cucumber, Appium would be highly desirable 
  • Proficiency in using scripting language (e.g. JavaScript and TypeScript) 
  • Excellent communication, leadership skills and problem solving skills 
  • English and Chinese (verbal and written)
