A reputable Fortune 500 firm is seeking an experienced Digital Engineer to join their growing team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience working in software development, and performance testing.
Responsibilities:
Ensure the quality of the developments through norms, standards, technical reviews and source control
Assist in various project implementation phases, such as project design, estimation, planning, development and implementation
Provide support in technical aspects tasks to drive tractability and efficient collaboration within stakeholders through specifications and code
Create and maintain APIs that support the platform’s functionality to ensure smooth running
Produce well-documented and well-tested, modular code focused on scalability and security
Collaborate and problem-solve with internal and external stakeholders
Contribute to application architecture with a focus on scalability, performance, availability, and security
Conduct test with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practice
Assist in publishing, deploying, and troubleshooting code
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or higher qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
Minimum 2-4 years of working experience in software development and test automation
Industry experience in mobile, web, digital platform in Insurance or Financial services
Strong experience in React Native, iOS, and Java development would be a plus
Prior experience in using JMeter, Cucumber, Appium would be highly desirable
Proficiency in using scripting language (e.g. JavaScript and TypeScript)
Excellent communication, leadership skills and problem solving skills
