Responsibilities:

  • Lead and monitor the operation efficiency of support team, identify operational issues and work out improvement plans within team and inter-department to drive and implement efficient operation procedure and workflow
  • Well understand and manage on new initiatives and projects, including reporting, risk mitigation, and deliverables, new services/systems, etc.
  • Support on delivery and manage projects with cross-department to support and handle various updates on regulatory requirement/guideline for IB channel
  • Work with IT/related departments and counterparts (such as vendor) to explore solutions, develop/drive and implement digital transformation for enhancing/improving operation efficiency
  • Ensure the quality and service delivered from the team meets the defined KPIs by establishing comprehensive control and reporting systems in key result areas 
  • Be a key stakeholder to collaborate with other teams on strategic projects
  • Co-ordinate with business development team and different operation teams on issues of underwriting, policy services, products, distribution admin and operation flow 
  • Review, investigate and resolve escalated cases from team members. Discuss and negotiate with relevant parties to ensure we provide the best business solutions to our customers & distribution channels
  • Provide sales and administrative support to the team
  • Perform other responsibilities, duties and ad hoc projects assigned by direct manager

 

Requirements:

  • University graduates
  • 10 years' solid job experience on distribution support/customer service in insurance, including 3 years team management experience
  • Experience in driving system enhancement, process review and UAT especially on digitalization and automation
  • Strong communication skills to translate business strategy into tactical implementation, fluency in written and spoken English and Cantonese is required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Possess high sense of responsibility and job ownership
  • Able to work under pressure and deal with people from different backgrounds
  • Demonstrate sophisticated analytic capacity and business thinking
  • Strong in leadership, team building and organizational management.
