Executive Summary
Our client is a fast-growing technology solutions and consulting services provider with a strong presence across the Asia Pacific region, including Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, and Hong Kong. As part of a major Financial Services Industry (FSI) digital transformation project , we are expanding our team with skilled software professionals specializing in C# and .NET .
The successful candidate will play a key role in software application development within the FSI domain, contributing to large-scale digital initiatives. Prior experience in financial services is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a core team member in a major FSI software development project.
- Conduct requirements analysis and provide technical recommendations .
- Prepare technical documentation , including system design, architecture, and development guidelines.
- Work closely with development teams, architects, and business stakeholders to design and deliver solutions.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain robust, scalable systems for an investment bank.
- Support system testing, troubleshooting, and go-live activities to ensure seamless deployment.
- Provide technical advice and problem-solving support.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of solid experience in web and Windows application development .
- Proficiency in C#/.NET Core , with some API programming and microservices development .
- Strong knowledge of SQL programming , Docker/Kubernetes , and CI/CD pipelines .
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (CI/CD experience accounts for ~40% of the role).
- Experience with WinForms/WPF development .
- Familiarity with XML (XSD/XSLT experience is a plus) .
- Some knowledge of Java, Node.js, React.js, or CI/CD tools is a plus.
- Some experience in VB6 revamp and Windows application development is a plus.
- Background in finance-related projects is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently .
- Passionate about new technologies and continuous learning .
- Fluent in Cantonese (mandatory) and strong English communication skills (spoken and written).
- A team player with a proactive, self-initiative, and “can-do” attitude .
