RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle accounting functions including NAV calculation, P&L reporting, coordinate audit process, preparation of financial statements and other fund & investor related reports
• Coordinate between Fund Managers, PBs, Middle Office, Custodians and other related parties for resolving any issues that may arise
• Managing the upload of trades, prices and corporate actions into service platform daily, weekly and/or monthly
• Cash and position breaks reconciliation and timely resolution of issues
• Perform investor allocations and fee calculations
• Handle subscriptions, redemptions and distributions
• Timely response to clients’ and investors’ inquiries
• Ad hoc reporting and other administrative duties as required

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or other business-related discipline with a minimum 2 years of experience in administration, operations, and accounting within the financial services industry
• CPA Certified or in the process of obtaining the certification
• Strong understanding of the investment products and product life-cycles
• Fresh graduate in related discipline may also be considered
• Experience in PE Fund accounting and transfer agency operations would be a plus
• Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior Fund Accountant

This role is part of a small start-up team (within a wider financial services firm). The candidate should be:

• Self-motivated, well-organised and have a can-do attitude
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
• Good in communication, and be able to display competence and confidence
• Proficient in PC skills (MS Word and Excel), knowledge in VBA and macro would definitely be an advantage
• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
