Faculty Secretary

Student Admissions and Administration Office

 

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing administrative policies and procedures to support the academic activities for the college;
  • To co-ordinate and supervise all aspects of the administration;
  • To provide secretarial/administrative services to Faculty committees;
  • Work closely with department, coordinate, plan and organize events and/or promotional activities;
  • Prepare/compile reports and assist with academic programme accreditation matters;
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Faculty, including the supervision of administrative staff in the provision of professional administrative support in office operations and academic programme-related matters;
  • Liaise with central units and academic departments on all matters relating to the Faculty;
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor or his/her delegate.

 

Requirements:

  • A recognised bachelor degree or above;
  • At least 5 years relevant managerial experience, preferably in faculty administration gained in tertiary institutions;
  • Work independently and proactively, with a strong sense of responsibility;
  • Have excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese including Cantonese and Mandarin;
  • Have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-tasks.
