Finance Associate – Leading International Law Firm | Hong Kong

A prestigious international law firm is seeking a talented Finance Associate to join its market-leading team in Hong Kong. The role offers exposure to high-profile transactions, a collaborative work environment, and excellent career development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advising clients on a range of finance matters, including general banking, acquisition finance, leveraged finance, project finance, and structured finance.
• Drafting and negotiating loan agreements, security documents, and other financing-related documentation.
• Managing transactions from inception to completion, ensuring smooth execution for clients.
• Providing strategic legal advice to financial institutions, corporates, and private equity clients.
• Collaborating with colleagues across multiple jurisdictions on cross-border deals.

Key Requirements:

• 3-8 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in finance law; flexibility for the right candidate.
• Strong experience in banking & finance, project finance, structured finance, or related areas from a leading law firm.
• Common law qualification preferred (Hong Kong, Australia, UK)
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English is essential; Mandarin is an advantage but not mandatory.
