Role Description

This is a contract role for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer. The role is on-site and located in Kowloon. The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for system design, development, testing, quality assurance and cloud migration.

Duites

• Design and develop scalable and secure cloud-based solutions to support the migration of existing systems and applications
• Integrate cloud-based solutions with other teams' products and services, ensuring seamless interoperability and collaboration
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless transition to the cloud
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts to ensure comprehensive testing
• Testing on new cloud enabled program and enable seamless migration to cloud
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members throughout the migration process
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the cloud migration
• Ongoing support and monitoring to ensure application performance and security

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 6 years of relevant experience in IT application development and testing with hands-on experience in user requirement collection and analysis, system design and SDLC
• Technical experience and knowledge in web solution architectural design and development, testing and web application programming
• Proficiency in the following:

1. Java, React, CSS, HTML, XML, JSON
2. Java EE, RESTful API, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, JPA, JTA

• Web application programming skills with responsive design:

1. Oracle 19c or above with PL/SQL
2. Cloud application development

• Experience and knowledge in the following would be an advantage:

1. Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
2. Redhat OpenShift
3. PostgreSQL

• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese)
• Good interpersonal, communication, problem solving and analytical skills
• Good team player with self-initiative, open-minded and willing to learn
