Our client is a Expanding and Well-Established Regional Corporate & Private bank in Hong Kong. They are currently looking for a Deputy Team Head, Trade Finance Operation to expand their business capacity in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

• Work as a deputy team head to assist on managing team member to prepare, check and review all Trade Finance Applications and Documents
• Perform second level review and checking for trade finance documents
• Work with the team head to approve and check all related transactions
• Check the terms & conditions of trade finance loan documents, letters and loan disbursements
• Develop and coach trade finance operation teammates to maximize efficiency
• Handle internal & external stakeholder’s inquiries on trade finance operation
• Identify deficiencies in trade finance operation and implement relevant strategies to rectify
• Provide operational support to the other operation units (Loan Operation/ Credit Administration) when neccessary

Requirements:

• Degree or above
• 10 years + all-rounded Banking Trade Finance Operation experience
• Solid trade finance documents checking experience
• Solid knowledge & experience on executing trade finance operation in accordance with the bank’s regulatory policies and guidelines
• Candidate with prior leadership experience would be highly preferable
• Knowledge & experience in handling Corporate Banking loan operation (syndicated loans & bilateral loans) would also be highly preferable
• Good command of written and spoken English & Putonghua
• Good knowledge of MS Office
