Department purpose and structure
Our corporate team spans all of our offices and works seamlessly with a global community of relationship law firms giving us access to a further 118 countries. This platform provides our clients with the confidence that they will receive the highest quality advice in both their domestic markets and as they expand into new territories. We advise across the broad spectrum of corporate work including public takeovers, private M&A, ECM, complex joint ventures, disposals and corporate restructurings, as well as general commercial, antitrust and corporate governance issues.
Role purpose
We are currently looking for a Company Secretarial Officer to support the Company Secretary in our Corporate Department.

Role and responsibilities
- Dealing with clients on a day-to-day basis
- Assisting the Company Secretary in preparing documents, performing tasks as required by or to serve the needs of clients, and assisting in ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and relevant regulations governing client companies
- Liaising with various internal departments to facilitate the team's daily office operations from time to time
- Assisting the team with the maintenance and organisation of an effective record/database system
- Assisting with billings, cheque/payment requisitions and invoice settlement
- Assisting the Company Secretary on ad hoc tasks as required
Key requirements Ideally, the successful candidate will meet the following requirements:
- At least 3 years of company secretarial experience.
- Hands-on skills in using Viewpoint.
- Excellent PC skills including profound hands-on knowledge and skills in Adobe Acrobat PDF Writer, Microsoft Office, Excel and Chinese Word Processing.
- Excellent spoken and written English and Cantonese. Mandarin language skills are advantageous.
