Location: Quarry Bay

We are seeking a motivated and talented Engineering Intern to join our Data Center Operations Team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic field or data center management, engineering and operations.

What this job involves

  • Support the team across operations, auditing, engineering, sales and maintenance activities
  • Identify areas when improvements can be made to systems and processes
  • Help analyze performance metrics and contribute to provide feedback and interpretation of results
  • Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities under the guidance of Senior Engineers
  • Assist in documenting processes, procedures, and system configurations
  • Contribute to projects aimed at optimizing data center performance and sustainability
  • Learn and apply industry best practices for data center operations and management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various data center initiatives

 

Interested?  An ideal candidate would need to have the following qualifications

Desired experience and technical skills

Required

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
  • Strong interest in data center operations and infrastructure management
  • Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Familiarity with IT networking concepts and protocols will be an advantage
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to details and ability to follow established procedures
  • Knowledge of data center standards and best practices (e.g. ASHRAE, Uptime Institute)
  • Experience with programming or scripting languages (e.g. Python, PowerShell)
