What this job involves

  • Perform daily inspections, repairs and maintenance of property facilities, including office buildings, shopping malls, parks & public spaces, etc.
  • Follow-up repairs and orders, including interior floor and floor carpentry, paint, locks, flooring, replacement of locks and other door and window components, leakage follow-up, simple water and electricity works etc.
  • Assist in handling emergency incidents, reduce / eliminate the impact of the incident, follow up on the contractor's work, and report progress to engineers and managers
  • Supervise contractors for maintenance, emergency repair works such as office floor decoration, renovation projects under construction and report progress with engineers/managers
  • Supervise the construction safety and quality of contractors and conduct acceptance inspections
  • Prepare incident and daily handover reports
  • Ability to repair and troubleshoot equipment fault

 

Interested?  An ideal candidate would need to have the following qualifications

Desired experience and technical skills

Required

  • Diploma / Certificate in Building Services / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or above
  • Holder of Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker preferred
  • Holder of valid Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial building operation and maintenance
  • Experienced in building services and coordination with service providers to carry out preventive / routine maintenance on mechanical and electrical works
  • Strong sense of responsibility, self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
  • Good-natured and customer-oriented
  • Good PC skills
  • Required to work on shift duty
