This role is pivotal in accelerating payabl.’s presence in Hong Kong and the broader Asian markets, developing long-term commercial strategies, and building a high-performing sales function.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned payments professional with expertise in acquiring, cross-border payments, and B2B financial services. They should have a strong track record in driving business growth, managing key accounts, developing market strategies, and scaling sales teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Market Expansion & Strategy – Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for Hong Kong and broader Asia, identifying new business opportunities in key verticals and emerging markets.
- Sales Leadership – Lead B2B sales efforts for payabl.’s acquiring and payment solutions, overseeing the full commercial cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and client onboarding.
- Regional Development – Expand payabl.’s merchant base, strengthen its position in the payments ecosystem, and build strategic partnerships with banks, PSPs, and fintechs.
- Team Building & Leadership – Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, aligning them with business objectives and driving sustained revenue growth.
- High-Value Client Engagement – Build and maintain relationships with enterprise-level merchants, large payment aggregators, and high-growth businesses, delivering tailored payment solutions.
- Market Intelligence – Conduct market research to identify industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics, shaping payabl.’s go-to-market strategy.
- Cross-functional collaboration – Work closely with product, compliance, risk, and marketing teams to enhance market penetration and ensure seamless customer onboarding.
- Revenue & KPI Management – Set and exceed sales and revenue targets, measuring success through key performance indicators (KPIs), conversion rates, and market penetration goals.

🧭 Our Hiring Process
