Assistant Manager (in the areas of Integrated Marketing and Outreach) (24250140)
The Graduate School of Hong Kong Baptist University is seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant Manager to support our integrated marketing and outreach initiatives. Responsibilities:
- Plan and Execute Marketing Strategies: Assist in the development and execution of integrated marketing and communications strategies that promote the University’s research postgraduate programmes and highlight student and alumni accomplishments;
- Content Development and Digital Marketing:
- Design and create engaging marketing and communication collaterals (feed/article/photo/video, particularly video production) for both online/offline platforms that align with the Graduate School’s image;
- Manage social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) including content creation and scheduling, to improve awareness and engagement ;
- Contribute to enhancing the digital presence of the Graduate School, including the revamp of the Graduate School’s website for search-engine optimisation (SEO) and user experience (UX);
- Event Coordination: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, plan and coordinate the logistics for various recruitment and engagement events, such as information sessions, award ceremonies, symposiums and other related activities; and
- Market Research: Participate in monitoring and analysing marketing trends, campaign performance and engagement metrics to support strategic decision making and inform new initiatives.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum5 years of experience in a marketing, public relations, branding, project management or a related field, preferably with education / public organisations; candidates with less experience will also be considered for the Senior Officer position;
- Communication Skills: Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese;
- Digital Marketing: Good knowledge of the digital media landscape, with hands-on experience in Meta Business Suite, Google analytics, GDN, CMS, SEO, SEM etc.;
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in media creation / editing tools, such as Adobe Photoshop, Premiere and Illustrator etc, is a strong advantage;
- Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented, organised, independent, proactive and a good team-player; and
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Journalism, Digital Media, English, or a related field.
This post is at the Executive Officer rank. The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of 2 years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
