Main Responsibilities

• Be accountable for achieving assigned profit objectives through FX, derivatives and rates trading, within the delegated authority and risk/ counterparty limits.
• Ensure compliance with trading guidelines, position and risk limits.
• Understand and interpret current market dynamics, handle enquiries and provide pricing to the front line business units.& branches
• Provide competitive pricing and market information to other business units & branches for execution of customer orders.
• Provide market information and analysis to management for formulating strategic purpose.
• Provide coaching / guidance to junior staff.
• Assist in developing and monitoring treasury operational policies.

Requirements

• Willing to perform night shift duty, including Hong Kong public holidays .
• University degree or above preferred and professionally qualified.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in active FX & rates trading function.
• Proven track record on P&L performance.
• Licensed with HKMA/SFC for Type 1 and 4 activities are preferred.
• ECF-TM qualification is preferable.
• Thorough knowledge of business practice and principles plus in-depth understanding of FX & rates trading.
• Good communication and people skills to work with different levels of talents within the Bank.
• Strong business acumen, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Pragmatic with strong drives for results.
• Comprehensive understanding on PRC financial market is definitely an advantage
