Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to drive and manage the implementation, support, and optimization of SAP systems, with a focus on finance functions such as budgeting, accounting, cost controlling, and finance consolidation. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that business needs are met through the design and delivery of innovative SAP-based solutions that align with organizational goals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP Finance solutions, particularly in SAP S/4HANA, and will work closely with various business units to define, design, and deliver solutions that drive operational efficiency. Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing the integration of finance processes across SAP systems, ensuring optimization and alignment with overall business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including PVT teams, project managers, business analysts, and support teams to ensure the effective delivery of SAP Finance solutions.
• Analyze and understand business requirements, then translate them into technical specifications for SAP configuration and enhancement.
• Oversee the entire SAP Finance lifecycle, from requirement gathering to solution implementation, ensuring high-quality deliverables within project timelines.
• Provide expertise on SAP Finance modules, including SAP FICO, SAP S/4HANA, and related solutions, to ensure seamless integration with other business functions.
• Develop, refine, and implement SAP solutions to optimize financial processes, such as budgeting, month-end/year-end closing, and intercompany reconciliation.
• Lead the design and review of solution architectures, ensuring alignment with business objectives and integration across various application components.
• Analyze the impact of SAP enhancements on existing systems, and propose efficient solutions to improve performance and functionality.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders and ensure clear communication of project progress, risks, and opportunities.
• Provide consultancy on optimizing existing solutions, particularly during high-pressure production situations.
• Continuously stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and industry best practices, integrating relevant advancements into the organization's SAP landscape.
• Work closely with the Technology & Architecture teams to drive innovation and ensure that solutions align with corporate strategic objectives.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members and contribute to team development.

Responsibilities:

• At least 10 years of experience working in SAP, with at least 5 years of hands-on project experience in large-scale SAP implementations and support projects.
• Extensive knowledge of SAP Finance solutions (SAP FICO, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Treasury, and Cash Management).
• Proven ability to design and implement SAP solutions across various finance business processes, including budgeting, accounting, and cost control.
• Strong background in integration of SAP modules, and familiarity with interfaces to non-SAP systems.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a track record of influencing senior stakeholders and aligning solutions with business strategies.
• Strong understanding of financial models, budgeting, and business process optimization.
• Ability to develop and compare multiple solution options, balancing functional capabilities, risk, cost, and benefits.
• Experience working with multinational companies and diverse technologies in a global environment.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and provide clear, actionable solutions.
• University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in treasury management and cash management processes within SAP.
• Familiarity with application development methodologies, object-oriented analysis, and design principles.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage end-to-end project delivery.
