Multi-Scale Medical Robotics Center

Multi-Scale Medical Robotics Center Limited (MRC) was established by the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Engineering of the Chinese University of Hong Kong in collaboration with ETH Zürich, Imperial College London, Johns Hopkins University, Technical University of Munich and the University of Hong Kong. The Medical Robotics Center (MRC) provides a collaborative platform for clinicians, engineers, and researchers from local and overseas universities. By focusing on innovative surgical robotics technology with a strong emphasis on clinical application and direct patient benefits, the MRC enables these multidisciplinary teams to work together and translate biomedical engineering research into new medical practices.

We are looking for a high caliber candidate to join the administrative team located at Hong Kong Science Park. The appointee will work in a number of administrative, finance and HR disciplines closely with internal and external parties at different levels.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide clerical and administrative support to the daily operation of the Center;
  • Assist in Center’s procurement and HR tasks;
  • Maintain and update inventory record of office equipment and supplies;
  • Perform reception duties of greeting guest, handle enquiries, mails and courier service etc.;
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisors.

Job requirements:

  • Completed secondary education;
  • Grade E/Level 2 or above in at least 5 subjects in HKCEE, including Chinese and English (Syllabus B); OR any combination of results in at least 5 HKDSE subjects (including Level 2 or above in Chinese and English): Level 2 or above in NSS subjects, “Attained” or above in ApL subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects), and Grade E or above in other Language subjects;
  • Fast and accurate typing skill;
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
  • Proactive, willing to learn and team-oriented;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Proficient in MS Office programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Salary & Benefits

We offer 5-day work, attractive remuneration package to the successful candidate. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a contract basis for 1 year, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement. Please send your CV with your last salary, expected salary and availability.
