Inhouse asset financing lawyer opening

Client Details

Our client is seeking an Asset Financing Lawyer to join their legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice and support on a wide range of asset financing transactions, including drafting, negotiating, and reviewing complex financial agreements and general commercial legal works.

Description

  • Draft, review, and negotiate asset financing agreements, including loan agreements, security agreements, and other related documentation.
  • Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate a variety of transactional and financing agreements related to aircraft or shipping business operations across multiple jurisdictions
  • Provide legal advice on asset financing transactions, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Conduct due diligence on asset financing deals, identifying and mitigating potential legal risks.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including financial institutions, clients, and other legal professionals.
  • Advise on regulatory compliance issues related to asset financing.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting asset financing and ensure the company's practices are compliant.

Profile

  • 4+ PQE, qualified lawyer of common law jurisdiction with experience in asset financing.
  • Proficient in English and Chinese.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with financial institutions and understanding of financial products.
